Most attempt survivors go on to live a very happy and fulfilling life.

Yes, there will be tough days ahead where you will experience pain and despair. But please hang in there; like most survivors your future could be filled with bliss and happiness.

This website seeks to encourage and empower you, a suicide attempt survivor, by providing useful information and resources to help you on your journey of recovery.

My Story

I have been down the dark road of surviving a suicide attempt myself. I have experienced total despair and numbness. I continue to face the difficult challenge of talking about my attempt, especially to people who haven’t experienced our pain and don’t comprehend what we have been through.

At times in this website, I will share my own story. Stuff I have experienced as well as things I have done that have helped me on my road to recovery. They will be different to your experience, but maybe there will be something that resonates with you.

One point I need to highlight; I have no skills or qualifications in mental health or any other medical field. Therefore, please remember, this website only provides general information and resources. I urge you to seek help from a mental health professional to support you on your road to recovery.

You may find some of the information disturbing since it talks about the darker side of suicide. But hopefully, you will find most of the information uplifting, especially the stories from fellow suicide survivors who have found their way back to live meaningful and joyful lives.

We wish you success on your way back. Remember, suicide is not the only option. There is hope, love and happiness ahead. Please stay and give it a go.
